When you have learned your best wardrobe colors and have your color palette in hand, you will automatically know your best makeup colors. Even the most spectacular wardrobe can’t project your best image if your makeup is non-existent or overdone. The “natural look” doesn’t mean a bare face. You will look your best when you emphasize and enhance your best features.
Skincare
Healthy skin is critical to good makeup application. The better condition your skin is in, the less makeup you usually need. The regimen we encourage our clients to use consists of the following: 1. Cleanse – Using a gentle formulation without soap 2. Exfoliate – To slough off the dead skin cells 3. Moisturize – Using a moisturizer with sun screen for day 4. Special treatments – Peptides, Vitamin C & E and Glycolic Acid products that nourish the skin
A good skin care regimen can significantly retard the inevitable aging process. Also contributing to youthful looking skin …. • Getting adequate sleep • Eating a healthy diet • Avoiding nicotine However, the one single factor that contributes the most to aging skin is the ultraviolet rays of the sun (even when hiding behind the clouds). Dermatologists call sun exposure the single greatest cause of premature aging and wrinkling. So be sure to wear your sunscreen every day!

Our makeup consultation teaches you the techniques to apply your own makeup quickly and competently. We call it “The 10-Minute Face”. Foundation that matches your skin, eye shadows that relate to your skin, hair and eye colors, blushes and lipstick shades that blend with the pink, red or peach colors in your palette, and eye liner and mascara colors that enhance your eyes are all combined to make you look your best.
